Wanda Maria McKahan

Wanda Maria McKahan, 82, of Uniontown, passed away peacefully Thursday, March 13, 2025.
She was born March 10, 1943, in Waynesburg, a daughter of the late Clarence Donald McKahan and Mary Rose McKahan.
In addition to her parents, she was also predeceased by five siblings, Virginia Wood, and Bennie, Donald, Chuck, and Willie McKahan.
Wanda had been a CNA employed at Mt. Macrina Manor for over 20 years, retiring in 1998.
She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, who enjoyed hiking in the mountains, and playing her guitar at church services. She truly enjoyed sitting on her porch and singing along as she played her guitar, not only for her own enjoyment but for her family, her friends, and her neighbors.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Brenda Sloan (John) of Fredericktown; four grandchildren, Heidi Martin (Chris), Parris Jacobs (Chelsi), Brandon Jacobs (Gina), and John Sloan (Rebecca); great-grandchild, Jettson; two sisters, Naomi Adams of Uniontown, and Kathleen Show of Masontown; and several nieces and nephews she dearly loved, including a particularly close nephew, John “Randy” McKahan.
Friends will be received in the SHELL FUNERAL HOME, INC., 164 S. Mt. Vernon Avenue, Uniontown, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 20, and until 11 a.m., the hour of service, Friday, March 21, with Pastor David Harden officiating.
Interment will follow in Church Hill Cemetery, McClellandtown.
