Marsha Dyonne Maddas Marva, 71, of Lemont Furnace, passed away peacefully Sunday, March 16, 2025, in Jefferson Hospital, with her loving family by her side.
She was born November 30, 1953, in Connellsville, a daughter of the late Albert and Jacqueline Hagar Maddas.
In addition to her parents, Marsha was preceded in death by her son, Roger Marva; and brother, Jeffrey Maddas.
She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Lewis A. Marva; children, Eric Marva (Michelle), Christopher Marva, and Justin Marva, all of Lemont Furnace; her grandchildren, Jimmy (Jennifer), Cal (Chelsea), Haley (Colbey), Ivy, and Eli; great-grandson, Cassian; siblings, Lisa Quarrick (Brian) of West Leisenring, and Douglas Maddas of Lemont Furnace; aunt, Jill Hagar; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Marsha was a retired cafeteria manager for Laurel Highlands School District.
She was a member of VFW Post #51 and North Union Fire Hall.
She was a hard worker and a loving mom and grandmother.
Visitation will be held in the DONALD R, CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME, Hopwood, from2 to 7 p.m. Thursday, March 20, and from 9 until the hour of the funeral service at 10 a.m. Friday, March 21, with Pastor James Jobes officiating. Interment will follow in Sylvan Heights Cemetery.
