Pastor Charles M. Gray, Jr., 94, of Uniontown, passed peacefully Sunday, March 23, 2025, in his home, with his family.
Charles was a retired educator and administrator for Uniontown Area School District.
He served in the United States Navy during the Korean War.
Following his retirement, he was ordained into the ministry, which was his true passion. He enjoyed his ministry life until his health started failing him.
Charles was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn; and his son, Scott.
Surviving are his daughter, Linda and son-in-law Carl Ainsley; his grandsons, Craig (Michaela) Ainsley, Jeremy (Lauren) Gray; and his great-grandsons, Gavin, Jordan, Jaxon, Cooper, Russell and Theodore.
Friends will be received from 4 until the service time at 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 26, in the DEARTH FUNERAL HOME, 35 South Mill Street, New Salem, PA 15468, with the service officiated by the Rev. Travis Deans. Interment in Oak Lawn Cemetery will be private.
