Kristopher M. John, 31, of Uniontown, passed away suddenly, Saturday, March 22, 2025.
Kristopher was the beloved son of Joyce A. John and Greg Thomas, and the loving father of Karter Kristopher John.
In addition to his parents and son, Kristopher was survived by his brothers, Jordan T. Thomas (Suzanne Thomas), Michael J. Bodis III and fiancee Jenna Whitlinger, Jalen Thomas, Andre Thomas; and his sister, Brooke I. John; nieces and nephews, Alyzae Thomas, Jaida’Cee John, Jordan Thomas II, Jayce John, Xavier Thomas, Kynsley Thomas, and Zayla Thomas; and special friends, Brittney Minor, Samantha Stepanik, Terence “PJ” Lewis, Haylie Truly, Patrick Dugan, and AJ Jacobs.
Kristopher was a devoted father who loved spending time with his family. He was a beloved uncle who was a father figure to all of his nieces and nephews. There was not a day that went by that he was not focused on making a difference in their lives and pushing them to be the best version of themselves that they could be.
He enjoyed playing basketball and was an avid Lebron James fan. He was a huge fan of Ohio State football. In his spare time, he enjoyed creating music.
Kris touched the lives of so many people and his legacy will continue forever.
Family and friends will be received from 1 to 3 and 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, March 28, in the GATES FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 136 N. Gallatin Avenue, Uniontown, where a prayer service will be held at 7:30 p.m. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 29, in St. George Maronite Church, 6 Lebanon Terrace, Uniontown. Interment will follow at Sylvan Heights Cemetery.
